On Dec 27, 2006, TBEA got the tender of all the main equipment in Jinmen, Hubei province in the main equipment bidding of world-famous Chinese first 1000KV ultra-high voltage AC testing and demonstration project((southeast of shanxi province-Nanyang-Jinmen). Hengbian took the manufacturing task of 4 sets 1000KV reactors. The task of developing 1000KV transformer and reactor is the important technology tackle project of the state eleventh five years, and also the pilotage project of reindustrializing the national machinery industry for state council. This reactor is the highest voltage level, the largest capacity and the most advanced in the world at present. This contract marks a big breakthrough in the field of autonomous innovation, and will take another leap of Hengbian.
After receiving the manufacturing task of 1000KV reactor, the leaders of Hengbian pay more attention to this and call for the company’s expert to assign the development work of the product. The company formed the leader group of 1000KV product development work whose leader is the general manager of Hengbian, Mr Chong Yanmin. This group is divided into seven branches: technology reform group, design group, technology group, quality assurance group, purchase group, manufacturing group and sales group. Each group holds the meeting to study the work respectively. The technology reform group holds the topic meeting to discuss the technology reform of ultra-high voltage. On the base of comparing with the advanced industry enterprise and the former two technology reform and combining the requirement of state ultra-high voltage plan, Hengbian confirms the technology reform plan of 1000KV ultra-high voltage reactor. On the base of contacting and discussing with the technology center, the design group compiled the plan for controlling the design and development, finished the distribution of transformer drawing and purchase sheet according to the product planned regulated time, and also performed the training work of technical document at site for 1000KV reactor and 1700KV testing transformer. The other group is performing the work actively. The development work for 1000KV has been started wholly.
With the start of 1000KV project, it is a rarely chance for Hengbian to adjust the product structure and improve the technology, and also a good chance to extend the product type of ultra-high voltage. Through the development of 1000KV reactor, Hengbian trained a development group, management group and work group of world degree and improved Chinese transmission and distribution product wholly.
